Happy Turkey Day '07

So it's been a while... Been rather busy quitting my corporate job, co-running the Burning Man staff commissary, and moving (more on all this, later). I'm now down on the SoCal coast in Ventura. I've picked up stakes and moved in with the awesome lady pictured above. Never expected I would be living in SoCal, but Ventura IS sweet. It's a bit of a mix of quiet coast town Santa Cruz and boutique-ish South SF bay. We live a short walk from her brewery, Anacapa Brewing Co. (yup, that's right, my girlfriend owns a brewery - yee haw!). Fortunately, our little town is far enough away from LA that I can report absolutely zero valet parking, tanning salons, teeth whitening joints, or any of the other annoying SoCal bits - just small coastal town goodness.

Since it's turkey day I thought I would express my thankfulness for some blessings. Let me see - a fantastic girlfriend, ocean view from my porch, free beer! - what more could a guy want or need.
